We come from a small desert town in southern Oaxaca where we grew up farming, caring for livestock, and selling at the colorful daily markets in the towns surrounding our home. Our mother was an expert cook and passed along not only her recipes and creativity but respect for the best ingredients available. Our Father has always had his own small Palenque (Distillery) and produced the same Mezcales that have been made in his family for generations. One by one we settled in the NYC area, working in restaurants, bars, bakeries etc. After 25 years of working and saving we bring to you Casa Azul. Here we hope to carry on our parents passions. We offer the best of creative Oaxacan cuisine and unique Mezcales. We hope you enjoy both as much as we are proud to bring them to you. Salud!
